"States of matter" is an improvisation with limited materials and a ritual framework.
The starting point is: a large ground of white paper, the static camera frame, moveable light.
The materials are: ash, ice, body (breath, spit, hands, face, feet ...)
Fire is the second source of light. Its crackling is sensible in the sound, while the ash is symbolizing the fires material impact.
The ice is solid water, immobile and cold. It can be taken as diametrically opposed to the fire….
